LOS ANGELES: DAG 18 – “IT’S A ‘SCHOU’ KINDA DAY….”

Today I’m looking for inspiration, for my upcoming shoot with the Hollywood magazine “Local Wolves.” Follow them @localwolves on Instagram.

And Melrose is definitely the place to go for inspiration, both when it comes to style and cool locations.

I found a shoe store with the biggest collection of Creepers and Dr. Martens I have ever seen!

The owner of the store, wanted my name and a picture of me. When I walked out he said; “Remember… there are not many Schou’s in the world.”

And with that in mind, I continued my stroll down Melrose Avenue….

Came across a clothing shop called “Cosmo” and the minute I stepped in, they were like; “Boy u got some serious style, I could prolly fit u into anything and you’d be bitching it!” – And before I knew it, I was trying on, all their clothes. They styled me and had one of the other shoppers, do like a frigging photo shoot with me. Hahaha. What’s up w L.A. – I have no clue, but I dig it.

The random shopper girls name is Tiara and her instagram is @choclick_barbiedoll.

Can’t hate the service and all the sweet-talk. Some people might find the L.A. vibe somewhat superficial, but I can’t help but smiling. It’s like the Eurovision Song Contest. When you give so much positive energy, how can you not smile and feel positive and energetic about it. I for one, love it!

I walked the whole way back to my place in Hollywood, so from Melrose Avenue to Sunset/Vine it was a 50 minutes walk. Who needs a car in L.A. anyway!? 😉

And on my way home, I got some more inspiration for my shoot. I’m thinking to find these cute locations. Trucks like this, and old ice-cream trucks etc. To give the shoot that contrast of me wearing very raw styled clothing, and then have the location being super over the top cute. The shoot’s on Thursday, and I’ll be rocking some of Nikolai Nalu’s “Rock’ N Roll People” clothing line, for this shoot.
