Am I the lucky one?

Some of the people on these pictures are strangers, some of them are new friends, and some will be lifelong soulmates. But what they all got in common is that they were all at the Echo Awards this year. An award show that now is history, after media just announced that we had been at the very last Echo Awards. Suddenly I understand why I was so busy emptying the free bar.

It’s a funny thing to get to travel the world like I do and meet all these people. But what’s more funny is that I genuinely feel a connection with these strangers, right away. Some of them, who over time have become friends, are living on the other side of the ocean, and I rarely get to see them. But I get to know them, and I feel fortunate and lucky.

So thank you to strangers and every new friend coming my way.
