RUNNING FROM SOMETHING?

The past week I’ve been running every night. 5 nights in a row. That’s a lot of running. It made me think.

For the last 5 years I’ve been living as a couch surfer traveling the world writing songs, finding home base in people and places.

A few months ago I was walking with a friend. She asked me when I was gonna stop running.

I had never thought about it like that. Am I running from something?

I don’t think so, I mean, it doesn’t feel like that at all, but yes, I am working outside a space of the norm and yes, I am working towards a different life than the idea I was born into.

So, maybe I am running from something. I don’t know. I’m so far from what people want me to be right now, and I guess that tells me that if I am running away, like my friend suggested, at least I’m running in the right direction.

Anyway…. Didn’t mean to throw you off board, I actually just wanted to tell you guys that I have a single out called “Run run run run run” and it’s getting some really nice reviews and feedback already.
